COMMON USES
  • ◉  Developed specially for Professional Horticulture for use in Potting Mixtures
  • ◉  Used as a single growing medium but makes ideal replacement for sphagnum peat.
  • ◉  Available in Fine, Medium & Coarse Grades.
  • ◉  Buffered or Exchanged Cocopeat is considered the most stable growing medium in the horticultural industry.
  • ◉  This particular product is washed three times and exchanged for 6 - 7 days.
  • ◉  Does not require treatment prior to use.
  • ◉  Potting & container Growing



TECHNICAL FEATURES
  • ◉  Bulk particle Density - 67- 71 Kilos per cubic Meter, in lose form.
  • ◉  Brown extremely coarse Texture when compared to Cocopeat.
  • ◉  Water retention 38% - 60 % depending on grade.
  • ◉  Extraction - chips to breaker Method - dry, washed husks - washed or buffered.
  • ◉  Fully buffered Using Calcium Nitrate, Dolomite & Gypsum
  • ◉  pH 6.5
  • ◉  EC <800 mS tested at 1: 1.5 Volume Extraction Method. (BaCl test)
  • ◉  Moisture Content when packed 18%
  • ◉  Water requirement for saturation per kilo 6 Litres.
  • ◉  Volume Out-turn 12 - 16 Litres per Kilo of crushed husk.
